New Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care for teaching from September 2023
We are pleased to announce that we will be developing a new Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care: Principles and Contexts which will be available to centres and learners in Wales from September 2023.
A new remote invigilation service is now available for the Children’s Care, Play, Learning and Development: Core qualification, allowing tests on the WJEC Surpass platform to be taken from home or the workplace, giving more flexibility to your candidates and removing the need to travel to a test centre.

Level 2 HSC: Core Qualification available for Test at Home service
Under the adaptation rules ‘Qualifications Wales’ has approved City & Guilds Test at Home service to be used for the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) test required for Level 2 Health and Social Care: Core qualification. This means that learners can take the MCQ test without leaving the comfort of their own home until August 31, 2021.
