To continue our ongoing commitment to Wales, we are delighted to confirm that our suite of Health and Social Care, and Children’s Care, Learning and Development qualifications have been extended on Qualifications in Wales. This ensures that they will be available to learners for a further five years, until 2029.
You can view the table below which lists the qualifications with the new final start and certification end dates. This table reflects the information listed on Walled Garden and on the Qualifications in Wales (QiW) database.
We recommend that you have an effective process in place to ensure that learner registration end dates are carefully monitored as extensions to registrations may not always be possible.
Ongoing fundability
Qualifications Wales has advised us of the need to change the categorisation of some of the City & Guilds qualifications within the HCLW suite so that they continue to meet funding requirements put in place by the Welsh Government.
We have worked closely with Qualifications Wales to respond to the requested changes.
